Fast mini application that opens a Terminal.app window cd'd to the front-most finder window. This app is designed (including it's icon) to placed in the finder window's toolbar. It's written in Objective-C and uses apple events which makes it much faster than applescript applets that do the same thing. cd to... Usage TipIf 'cd to…' and Terminal.app open two windows… - Version: 2.3, 9/28/2009 02:46PM PST

… and you don't want that, just open Terminal.app, close all windows and save these nonexistent windows as a 'window group'. (Sounds strange, doesn't it? ;-)
Then change the Start-Preferences to start with this 'windows group'.
If you open Terminal.app with 'cd to…' now, it only opens one window, if you open Terminal.app by doubleclick or dock, it will still open a standard terminal window with pwd=userdir. Ulrich Kapp
