MacEtegami ReviewMOUNT EVEREST in a tea cup - Version: 2.02, 10/20/2007 06:56AM PST

If MacEtegami is Mount Fuji in a tea cup, try ARTRAGE2, from ambientdesign.com for Mount Everest in a tea cup. It is so amazing it will make your jaw drop. It imitates paint so perfectly it is stunning. To think I could have missed it!! It is for PC and Mac.
No washing paint brushes or mess, and the real effect.
You will think it is your birthday! It is on Version Tracker. Can't wait to upgrade!

Very good present from Japan - judging from the writing. A lot in this. It transfers nicely from the edit menu to the desktop, and from desktop to iphoto, which means images can be edited and put into iweb and comic life. Which is more than I can say for some apps. It gives the effect of splashing about with a paint brush, and takes some of the stress out of doodling. A lot can be achieved with patience. Reminds me of the poem: "Snail, my little man. Slowly, Ah! Very slowly! Climb up Mount Fuji!"

    MacEtegami ReviewWorks with 10.3.9 (PPC) - Version: 2.0, 2/11/2007 01:55PM PST

Despite the info above, this app does work with 10.3.9 on a PPC Mac (Intel 10.4 only). It is a small simple app, but it is nicely done, and gave me pleasing results, and this just with the mouse, not a tablet.
