IPSentinelStatus ReviewWhy pay for something that is free elsewhere? - Version: 1.1.1, 3/10/2009 03:52AM PST

With the general bugginess of this and the fact that there is a totally free alternative called Bwanadik out there, why on earth would anyone actually lay down bucks on this? In the current economic woes, $10 buys almost 5 gallons of gas (at least right now). Seriously, try Bwanadik first. See if it does what you need. If all you need is a way to copy your external or internal IP address, and if all you need is to have a little green orb on your menubar to let you know that you're online, a red one if you're not--Bwanadik is the ticket.

Passing the mouse over the IP address/menu bar item displays a pizza wheel. Eventually (30 seconds?), the menu popped down...and stayed down, with another pizza wheel for another 30 seconds. After that, clicking the menu again produced the pizza wheel. And so forth. Doesn't seem to be ready for prime time. [Mac OS X.4.11, iMacIntel]
