Product Description:

Red Snapper is a light-weight Safari plugin that lets you capture web pages - exactly as they appear on screen. You can send them to a file, or to the clipboard, as images or vector-based PDFs (with links!) It captures the whole web page - eliminating the need to cut, paste and crop multiple screen-shots when trying to create an image or PDF. Best of all, it's one-click simple... right there on Safari's toolbar.

Web Snapper CommentaryBRAVO to this developer's tech support - Version: 2.3.5, 9/2/2009 10:58AM PST

Version 2.3.5 corrects a problem I had when I used version 2.3.4 with MacOS 10.5.8. I want to congratulate the developer on his prompt support. He returned my first eMail within 30 minutes, and after I provided him the specific information he requested, he sent me a release candidate within 12 hours.

I have been using, very frequently, Web Snapper for the last eight months, and I still find it to be indispensible - each and every day.

Web Snapper CommentaryDoesn't work with Snow Leopard - Version: 2.3.3, 8/29/2009 06:34AM PST

Just installed Snow Leopard and Web Snapper doesn't even load, so can't be used.

So now I've created various page sizes, put the print button onto the Safari tool bar...
...And, for me, it's the same functionality - taking fullscreen snapshots of a website, even secure pages.

Since Web Snapper often fails to capture pages for me [BBC, The Register being notable examples], I was already on the lookout for a replacement.

I don't want to run Safari in 32 bit mode, just to use software that I'm already losing patience with.

It's been good. It's been simple to use. It's been something I couldn't do without.
But now it's been replaced.

Maybe if things change, Web Snapper will be my snapper-of-choice.

Web Snapper ReviewWorks for me! - Version: 2.3.2, 1/18/2009 03:30AM PST

I bought the latest version of Websnapper and find that it works perfectly - ZERO problems.
I have latest version of Safari and am on 10.5.6.
Besides the fact that Websnapper works consistently well for me, I really like being able to save my web page in different formats. Plus just having this ability "at the click of a button" really works for me. When I needed to contact the creator, I found him completely responsive and helpful - even more than that actually...a real person who didn't just fire back a geeky one line reply. Frankly...I recommend WS wholeheartedly.
P.S. The ONLY reason I gave it a 4 on features was because ultimately I wish that I could access WS's function using a keystroke instead of having to go to my trackball.
