MailRecent Mail Plugin ReviewWorks for me - Version: 1.1, 11/26/2007 05:17PM PST

Man oh man, I've been wanting this feature for a long time. Installed it, and seems OK here (almost a week now). Makes moving mail much easier for me.

OSX 10.4.11, intel iMac, and OSX 10.4.10 G4 Powerbook.

I do note the developer has 2 versions available: one for Tiger, and one for Leopard. I can only speak for using it on my Tiger systems.

MailRecent Mail Plugin Troubleshooting ReportI think this almost trashed my email - Version: 1.0.1, 2/5/2007 05:39PM PST

I've just spent a day trying to restore my email after coming to the Mac this am and when booting receiving a message that I was opening Mail for the first time - just as though I was using it for the first time. After I created a new account - which I had to do to get access, I had to rebuild my mailboxes and then discovered that I couldn't move mail from my inbox to any other mailbox.

I've spent the day trying to figure out why - I just deleted this plugin and hey presto - Mail works fine.

Not conclusive, but I think there may be a problem with the plug in.

MailRecent Mail Plugin Reviewinstantly useful - Version: 1.0.1, 2/1/2007 01:46PM PST

This plugin has already made it easier to work with "too many" mailboxes in combination with Mail Act-On, much like described in the Background section on the developer site. Thanks, Greg!

One improvement would be to include the extended name for a duplicate mailbox in the menu even when only a single instance of it occurs. It's easy to forget exactly which duplicate mailbox a single instance is, especially between Mail sessions.

I'd also like a way to optionally invoke "Copy/Move to Recent" followed by "Go to Recent" for the specified mailbox.

And I can imagine how a certain merging of this with the MsgFiler plugin might improve mouseless operation.
