For nearly two years I have tried to contact this company to obtain updates and upgrades of my purchased version through its website, and I have never answered, ... lousy customer service. I feel cheated. Please contact me...

Disco XT ReviewThere is hope! - Version: 4.2.1, 3/13/2008 12:02PM PST

I have great news to report on this software.

I am now in touch with the author, and he is working very hard to deal with the remaining bugs.

I have used an alpha version which fixes my specific problems, and many features requested have been included in the up-coming beta version. You can look forward to a full release soon which will work reliably, and has many features active - including those troubling jingles.

I can't say much more than this - the main thing you may find helpful to know is that the author is a great guy and he is working very hard to ready this software for commercial sale.

It is my belief that this will go on to be a major piece of software for internet radio stations and live DJs alike. Disco XT could be the software we have all been waiting for so long.

Watch this space...

This software promises much. It is great to look at and the feature-set is impressive. Annoyingly, some of it works very well indeed.

Sadly, much of it just doesn't - and I am saddened that software like this, clearly in beta stage has been released.

Forget the jingles function - and I have a problem which the author claims he is fixing but hasn't done anything in two months. One deck just stutters and fails to play back smoothly. When I click a drop-down menu, the track plays smoothly - leave the menu, it stutters. He says he will fix it, but I see no fix.

I spent a lot of money on this, and I am very disappointed.

Now...on to radiologic.

Disco XT CommentaryExcellent shape and design but full of bugs.... - Version: 4.1, 12/30/2007 11:11AM PST

1 - the design and the shape are very nice and practical for using it as a dj. I appreciate the album artwork and the light which is selecting the fader or the action...
2 - ... BUT : it is very slow to execute. It's buffering all the time and slow down until it stops completly.
3 - AND the crossfader usage is not practical : it is a very slow and to long fader (although I've changed options) and mainly fake.
4 - it misses some effects (filter, echos, delay) for each turntable and more auto-mix with the crossfader including optional delay, echos and straight (as a real dj, scratcher, turntabler, ...).

Conclusion : you're almost at the point to make a very good and reference mixing software for dj, but not enough for paying 99 € for it !! I'm waiting for your next update...

It's a nice cheap alternative for software like Traktor. Less functions, but the shortcuts work pretty well.
Except form the jingles. They just don't work.

Their website isn't really a help.

Disco XT ReviewStay away from it... too bugsy - Version: 3.2, 8/25/2007 01:37PM PST

I downloaded it and based in that limited experience it seemed good. So I bought it.

Firts thing, the jingles don'y work.

Once you get an extensive library it gets very slow responding and it crashes.

So, I reluctnantly must say... it got ways to go before it can be consider.

So, I wasted the money.
