Product Description:

yFlicks is a movie player based on Mac OS X's QuickTime Framework. But it's much more than that: yFlicks comprises a wide range of functionality, which previously required a slew of task-specific applications.

Most importantly, you can watch your movies just like you used to do with QuickTime Player. But in addition to that, yFlicks offers the ability to play videos in fullscreen mode, organize your videos in groups, search them, rate them, and browse them in preview mode.

Furthermore you can easily download YouTube/Google videos, view them as flash videos (requires the free Perian codec), and export them to other movie formats - e.g., for viewing them on your iPod.

What's new in this version:

Added support for downloading videos from DailyMotion.com and CollegeHumor.com.
Improved context menus, e.g. in presentation mode. You can also rate the currently playing movie via context menu now.
Double-clicking on the currently playing movie now toggles presentation mode (size to fit/crop to screen).
Fixed a bug that made yFlicks throw an exception when sorting an empty group in a certain way.
Fixed a display glitch in list mode.
The main movie view can have keyboard focus again, letting you step through frames via arrow keys.
Changed the keyboard shortcut for rotating a movie to [shift]-[command]-[r]. You can also rotate movies via context menu now.
Added an optional Leopard-style main window behavior/texture that changes its hue depending on whether yFlicks is the frontmost application.
Available language: English. A German localization is currently in the works.

No one answers tech support e-mails, their Blogs haven't been updated in over a year. And many of their products are reputedly failing under Snow Leopard. KEEP WELL AWAY.

No fine stars till they get back on board and support their customers.

This software worked like a charm, till I installed Snow Leopard with QT X on my MBP(oct08).

Now the preview images will not show up. After visiting the Many Tricks web site and finding their user forum not working, and not able to contact any one at Many Tricks. I feel I must give this warning. Under 10.5 works great 5 Stars, under 10.6 not so good. Plus concerned that this product and other products from Many Tricks may not be supported any more.
