Amadeus Pro Troubleshooting ReportNB: 1.4.4 *may* break .wma import capability - Version: 1.4.4, 10/27/2009 12:44AM PST

-jpa
Found that I could no longer open .wma files immediately after upgrading to 1.4.4. If that function is important to you, perhaps you should wait to see if it's a problem with 1.4.4 (as opposed to some unique anomaly with my system.)

Amadeus Pro CommentaryWent back to 1.41 - Version: 1.4.2, 7/9/2009 11:06PM PST

Did a quick test, simply recording ambient noise in my computer room/office. The new 1.42 version created audio that was fluctuating and "shaky." Went back to 1.41 and it works fine again. Guess I'll check the folks at the website and see if this is happening to anyone else.

Amadeus Pro CommentaryAs stale reviews grow... - Version: 1.4.1, 5/1/2009 09:51PM PST

As stale reviews grow...

It is a shame to read old ["stale"] reviews, which do not adduce to the benefits of this, the latest upgrade. I for one, want to read something indicative of the software's ability, strengths and ease-of-use...as well as the demerits ascribed before I decide if want to test this software, the purchase it. It's just another reason I toped my "subscription" to VersionTracker Pro. I care not to read masturbatory exultations or picayune diminuendos regarding the any software's efficacy. Hopefully Cnet will get the gist... It is a shame to read old ["stale"] reviews, which do not adduce to the benefits of this, the latest upgrade. Amadeus Pro ReviewAbsolute bargain for the price! - Version: 1.3.3, 11/11/2008 04:18PM PST

Amadeus Pro is up there with Bias Peak IMO. At $40 (!) though, Amadeus knocks the spots of Peak! This latest version (of Amadeus Pro) is fabulous. Buy it and love it.

Well done Hairersoft! :¬)

This version works excellent, seems to way faster and much more responsive. When you hit record, you're recording, and playback is better then I hoped for.

Amadeus Pro ReviewAmadeus Pro in Las Vegas - Version: 1.2.1, 3/15/2008 07:40AM PST

I just completed a show in Las Vegas for the acclaimed producer Jean Ann Ryan. Jean Ann has more shows running all over the world than any other producer. She needed me to be able to edit and playback on the fly for three days, to include a live show on the third evening. Normally I'd use Pro Tools, but this time I decided to give Amadeus Pro a try. Not only was I able to to give Jean Ann everything she asked for, edit after edit, I even ran the entire live show from it. I used two macbooks, (one as a back-up). We did the show which was 42 minutes flawlessly. I was amazed! A $25.00 program performed above my expectations. Thanks Martin! Great job! Keep up the good work, I'm sold! If ever you're in Vegas look me up. rob@robkaz.com

Sincerely,

Rob

Amadeus Pro CommentaryStrange behavior - Version: 1.2, 11/16/2007 04:50PM PST

RoyPDX
After installing Amadeus Pro 1.2 and launching, it was unable (apparently) to open any files...I attempted opening several files in multiple ways (drag onto the application icon, from the Open menu, from recently used files, etc...) —nothing. So, I trashed the application and re-installed 1.1 and all was well. This time I attempted to upgrade to 1.2 from within the 1.1 application...download and install went fine...and as 1.2, it worked fine (by the way, previously, after all my attempts it had temporarily locked up my computer (iMac 2GHz Intel)) So, after the “successful” upgrade, I rebooted to clear anything that may have gotten messed up. Upon relaunch, Amadeus once again, quit working...it would not open files, etc. Anyone else having similar symptoms?

Amadeus Pro CommentaryExcellent Support! - Version: 1.1.1, 10/29/2007 04:01PM PST

The problem I described in the previous post has been fixed. I got very prompt and expert support form the developer and I'm very impressed with how quickly the problem was solved. I'm not sure if the fixed version will be available for download yet but I guess it will be soon.

Is this really Leopard compatible? Since I installed Leopard it crashes after a minute or two of playing and editing MP3 files. It never did that with Tiger.
