Product Description:

I ran into a problem with my External USB Drive spinning down and freezing the Finder. This would prevent my scheduled backups, because it would never spin back up. This is a Launch Daemon that lists the contents of the top directory of every volume (every minute) and sends it into the void (/dev/null). Performing a read on the volume every minute prevents the disk from spinning down.

It doesn't fix external drives controlled by firmwire, like the notorious MyBooks.

I download the trial version.
I add my drives (to not spin down) and click save.
I reboot my machine and No Spin has forgotten everything.

I know what I want (drives always spinning) and this application does NOT seem to provide it.

P.S. I find the "developer's site" to be a complete joke.
