Product Description:

From the documentation: "GNU Wget is a free utility for non-interactive download of files from the Web. It supports HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP protocols, as well as retrieval through HTTP proxies."

I am not the author, but as Wget is released under the GNU GPL I have compiled it as a Universal Binary and released it in an installer package for Mac OS X.

Excellent port of wget, which is a powerful Unix utility that can do batch FTP and HTTP downloads, perform load tests on servers, and any number of other clever things. This port works well under Mac OS X 10.5, as advertised; the only real issue is it does not work under earlier versions of Mac OS X, and the posting clearly states this.

wget is a command-line tool, so -- you'll need how to use it in the command line. Type (after installation) man wget to get the manual, or wget -h to get abbreviated help.

The download link is *up* and *available* now. I apologize profusely for the greater-than-24-hour outage of my site and all associated files. This was horrible timing on the part of my hosting (as I'd just uploaded Wget), but that's life, I suppose. Thank you for your understanding.
