Product Description:

From the documentation: "GNU Wget is a free utility for non-interactive download of files from the Web. It supports HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP protocols, as well as retrieval through HTTP proxies."

I am not the author, but as Wget is released under the GNU GPL I have compiled it as a Universal Binary and released it in an installer package for Mac OS X.

What's new in this version:

  • Updated to Wget 1.11.4

The download link is *up* and *available* now. I apologize profusely for the greater-than-24-hour outage of my site and all associated files. This was horrible timing on the part of my hosting (as I'd just uploaded Wget), but that's life, I suppose. Thank you for your understanding.

Sorry to all -- the download link went down this afternoon at around 3pm Pacific due to a problem with my hosting provider. Hopefully the link will be restored within a few hours. :(

If you experience installation difficulties, and have installed this program previously, try deleting any receipts related to Wget from /Library/Receipts and then try installing again.
