Product Description:

NicCentral presents an easy to use GUI for commonly needed network commands such as:

  • BW whois - query many top level domain name servers for a host name
  • nmap - popular port scanner
  • nslookup - Used to query Internet domain name servers
  • ping - Test to see if a host is reachable
  • strobe - Strobe is a network/security tool that locates and describes all listening tcp ports on a (remote) host or on many hosts in a bandwidth utilisation maximising, and process resource minimizing manner.
  • whois - Get information about Internic registered domains
  • whois (.gov) - Get information on US goverment domains
  • whois (.mil) - Get information on US military domains
  • whois (.apnic) - Get information about hosts allocated in the Asian/Pacific region
  • whois (.arin) - Get information on IP addresses allocated in the American region
  • whois (.ripe) - Get information on hosts allocated in the European region
