I've used this to apply BPMs to my iTunes library on a Powerbook G4 1.67 running OSX Tiger and OSX Leopard and never had any problems with it. It occasionally comes across a track it can't detect the BPM on and occasionally applies weird BPM counts to some tracks but generally for house or trance tunes I find it fairly accurate. Much easier to use than loading the tunes into a deck and running them up. Provides a nice guide to track BPMs. No hangs or crashes. Nice one.

Not only did this crash several times during processing of my iTunes library, I noticed after it had finished a song with a lot of garbage characters in it. I also noticed songs that seemed to suffer "stuttering" when played - bits and pieces dropped from them.
In no way should anyone try this, even as a demo. Not without Time Machine or other iTunes backup.
