I am glad this came along. Yes, I'm a neat freak, and no, I don't want to have to shut down my computer every time I need to wipe down keys. Another alternative, of course, would be to disconnect the USB, but all I have to do is employ a keyboard shortcut to power up the app [cmd-opt-ctrl-shft-k, using Keyboard Maestro], wipe down the keys, then cmd-q to resume my work. Many, many, many thanks.
However, I do advise that you wipe the modifier keys separately from the others. I just discovered on my new 17" MacBook Pro that cmd-F5 will engage VoiceOver ON/OFF while Keyboard Cleaner is active.

My only complaint: Where is the f. manual???!
