Product Description:

The QuickLicense system makes it easy to protect and manage software licenses for any Windows or Macintosh application. The QuickLicense application is used to configure a licensing strategy that is stored in a highly encrypted Ticket file. That file and the royalty-free QuickLicense runtime software are included with an application written in any programming language. With QuickLicense, it's easy to create time or execution limited Trial editions, control application features, determine which machines or user's can run the software or create time-leased applications. QuickLicense can handle online activations and collect customer data. Customer data can be searched, organized, exported or imported to a spreadsheet or database and used to manage the evaluation, sales and support process.

What's new in this version:

The upgrade includes an application programming interface for complete developer control and the AddLicense tool to wrap compiled applications within a protective license with no programming required. Unicode text enables the developer to customize the user interface to support any language. An application can even replace the runtime Activation dialog. I bought this product version 2.0 in early summer of 2007, 7 month after RB came with UB and 14 month after Mac start to run on Intel processor. In e-mail from the seller Excel Software dated 23.3.2007 say's "The QuickLicense system makes it easy to protect and manage software licenses for any Windows or Macintosh application." And now after I have try to use this product for some month, now they release a new version 2.1 wich run on Mac with Intel. I have already send them e-mail where I was asking about this and never got any answer until today where I am offer to buy the update for 250$. I had already pay 800$ for the first time for version that never run on Mac with Intel, so in e-mail I got 3/23/2007 they were lying. "Any Macintosh Application" I got a huge list of things that don't work in this product, like I bought both Windows and Macintosh and when I was trying to generate license number for this product the Windows and Mac did not generate the same license number!. Mac program using this product "QuickLicense" complain again and again, this external module that the Mac programs has to call was so slow that my program was already stopped because feedback from this external module came to late. Although there are delay for few seconds to wait for this external module. This is the most stupid product that I have see or try on the computer programming market and I have to admit to be more stupid to buy it.
