I tried installing this app again when I upgraded to the new MacBook.

My serial number was rejected so I used their contact form on their website to receive a new activation key as my app had been installed previously. The activation key was rejected when trying to activate. I requested another and the same key was sent. I left it a few days and requested yet another activation key. This time a new key was sent but was still rejected when trying to activate.

I've since sent them an email via their web form but am still waiting for some sort of response. In the meantime I cannot use this application that I duly paid good money for.

Very poor customer service in my opinion. I'll give it a few more days to see if I get a response. If I don't I'll resort to downloading a cracked version and refrain from buying any of their apps in the future. I'd rather not have to do this but if this is the only way that I'll be able to use an app that I paid for then so be it.

PulpMotion Troubleshooting Reportstill a lot of problems - Version: 1.5, 2/14/2008 12:00AM PST

freezes while exporting.

Also when exporting the export window remains open and in front of all other windows and basically renders your computer useless for the time it takes to export (if it then works) depending on quality this can be several hours on Quad Intel.

PulpMotion Troubleshooting ReportStalls at launch - Version: 1.2.5, 8/27/2007 04:06PM PST

The current update gets stuck at launch showing two progress bars that say "preparing", and the cancel button does not work. I deleted the app and reinstalled, same problem. Still waiting on a response (two emails) from customer service. This is the second French software outfit that I have had problems with and cannot get a response from. A trend perhaps?

PulpMotion Troubleshooting ReportOpen Dialogue Window Unresponsive - Version: 1.2, 6/25/2007 11:34AM PST

On opening the new version provides the Open Dialogue and when I select cancel so that I can create a new project it does not do anything-just remains open. I have to force quit the application to go on doing other things.

PulpMotion ReviewCool but can stand some improvement - Version: 1.1.2, 5/8/2007 07:59PM PST

Crashed when I dumped 1,200 images into it. It seemed difficult sometimes to get back to my media window after previewing - clicking the media/settings toggle button didn't always work.

I would use this primarily as a custom screensaver generator. Apple's built-in screensaver is nice but doesn't allow any user modification of pan/zoom parameters. PulpMotion is a step in the right direction but needs more. I'd love to be able to set not only the min/max zoom speeds (randomized within that range), but also the min/max zoom levels - sometimes Apple's screensaver zooms in so far you don't see much of the picture. PulpMotion also only ever seems to zoom in - it should zoom out as well (randomized). I'd very much like to see a random-order (shuffle) function, too.

PulpMotion ReviewGreatness in progress! - Version: 1.0, 12/14/2006 12:56PM PST

First, the people responsible for PulpMotion are wonderful. They communicate frequently and provide almost instantaneous service, including answers to many questions. I was given an opportunity to work with a beta version and I loved the simplicity, yet professional attributes of the application. Since I am often responsible for athletic group presentations, this has potential to add some extraordinary effects. Furthermore, the basic premise is easy and the themes are unique. Within minutes of first opening PulpMotion, I was able to create a professional quality sequence; two of these have been posted on the PulpMotion site. Special accolades to Claudia Zimmer and Matt for their attention to detail and customer-oriented business.
