Product Description:

TiVoDecode Manager (TDM) is an Applescript Studio front-end (i.e. "wrapper") that automates the process of downloading of TiVo Series 2 files to your computer and decoding into MPEG-2 files. Features include:
  • Bonjour discovery of local TiVos (or enter an IP manually)
  • Listing of show, episode, date recorded, and other information
  • One-click download and decoding of TiVo shows
  • Batch processing queue for multiple downloads
The decoding is performed by the tivodecode software. It is included in the TDM package, but I had no involvement in it's development.

What's new in this version:

  • Added user-selectable download location 
  • Fixed limitation where only first 128 TiVo shows were listed 
  • Size column is now listed in megabytes
  • Added batch processing queue to allow for sequential downloads of multiple files
  • Fixed several problems related to folders with spaces in the name
  • Fixed problem when certain TiVoCast programs were present
  • Reduced the frequency of the startup copyright warning message
  • Upgraded to tivodecode 0.1.4
  • New icon (thanks Yudonomi!)

Tried version 3.0 with MacOS 10.5.6 and a Tivo HD connected via Airport network. TiVoDecode Manager finds my Tivo and downloads the program list, but refuses to download any programs. Whether I'm trying to download a queue or an individual show, the downloads just never begin.

Also, some interface objects (the "Cancel Download" button and various items in the Prefs drawer) are enabled/disabled or shown/hidden at inappropriate times.

I really liked earlier versions of this application, so I hope it gets back on its feet soon.
