Product Description:
iPod Notes is a freeware application for Mac OS X made to manage the notes of your iPod. iPod Notes let's you create and organize any note you want to have in your iPod. You can paste text in, drag text from other applications, drop it as a text file from the Finder or, of course, write it yourself with the keyboard of your Mac.
What's new in this version:
This release primarily add support for Mac OS X Leopard.

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

Additional Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.2 or newer.
The Notes feature is available on iPods that have a dock connector. This includes iPod mini, iPod (with Dock Connector), and iPod (Click Wheel) models.

It doesn't respect the 4kB limit for notes size on iPods. Larger notes will get truncated. One would think that an application specialized on iPod notes would take care of that and maybe split the notes into smaller files if necessary.

Caution, when using iPod Notes 1.0 to sync to your iPod, all existing notes on your iPod in the notes folder will be deleted and replaced by the current notes from this application.

...the best piece of software for the job. It is easy to use and it really makes it easy to edit notes you already have on your iPod. I created a text to iPod thing and use it a lot when I am visiting various web sites. Problem is, it gets ALL the text. A lot of it, I don't want and I use this handy tool to get rid of the extra. I can also very easily create notes from scratch. You will love this little app.
