Just to let all of you know that the Windows Media Codec version is not yet ready, it will be releases within a few days. If you must have that codec right now, you can still download the beta version of the program through this website and thanks to all of you for considering this download.

The reason we chose to use WMA is because the streams for WMA from their site are at a higher bit rate. Example: The QuickTime bitrate at its' highest is 64 KBPS whereas the High Stream for the WMA Stream is 128 KBPS. So the reason is for the quality of the streams. If you would prefer an option in streaming choices we can add that to version 1.0. Thanks for your comments!

ZRadio Selector (QuickTime Edition) CommentaryWhy WMA? - Version: 0.9.8, 11/20/2006 06:05PM PST

1) I think it's great they develop an app for OS X

2) I don't get why they use WMA for the streaming??? Each of these 3 stations uses native QT streaming formats in AAC when you go to it's website, yet for the app they use WMA?!
