Sorry, but the support for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) has been removed on the latest version.

As is it is wonderful. But as good as it is I still do not use the floater because it is lacking what Synergy and others provide. I am not talking of the showing of art when the control is moused over. I'm talking about the floater that pops up on song change. Other apps also allow you to choose duration/song length and year.
Excellent !

This is a beautiful little program -- unobtrusive when I don't need ist and beautiful when I use it. Plus it comes with some cool features like auto-play all songs in the iTS. Also, the author is responsive and loves iTS gift certificates :)
Finally found what I've been looking for.

Well, not "perfectly true," but with the *addition* of this I now have all I want for iTunes use. First there's iTunes, much maligned (but if you're interested in these helper apps you must be OK with iTunes). Then I use Synergy as 1) I paid long ago and 2) it is more solid (reliable and featured) than any one other app. GimmeSomeTune causes stutter though not as bad as before. TotalTunesControl comes close but lacks a feature or style I want (but price is decent). Playwatch is a good start (and price is decent). CoverSutra is way overpriced. TuneBar is slick in some respects but is lacking in a couple other areas.
But with iTunes and Synergy I have the best of all mentioned above: global hotkey support and nice/flexible artwork floater on track change using Synergy; volume control without having yet another something in my menu bar (plus iTunesVolume's controller can be set to be almost invisible in your workspace) & ability to display huge album art (great Playwatch feature) as well as track info using iTunesVolume. Plus iTunesVolume is free.
Other than the lack of good usage info (in English for us gringos) I really do not have any issues at all. I would like it to show art & info on track change but Synergy does that. I would like it to open/close with iTunes open/close but I can do an Automator action for that.
I am happy.

How to never show window? - Version: 1.0.2, 5/10/2008 06:17AM PST

I mean the window that shows at first use, the one that says, "As you can see, some windows appear ..."
I can't find a preference to keep it from not showing. I have tried quitting iTVC and restarting it. It is VERY annoying and so I assume it can be done.

It also keeps opening iTunes by itself when I don't want it open and you can't stop it from doing it until you shut down.
I couldn't figure out how to simply quit the program.
