I have purchased NoteMind but I find that it does not work for me. That may be because of some problem with the software or because I am not using it correctly and is not my main gripe. What really annoys me is that my two e-mails to the developer over the past several weeks have produced no response whatever. This certainly does not inspire confidence.
Best Mind Mapper

I've tried loads of Mind Mapping software packages but NoteMind is the only one I've actually purchased, stuck with and used with my valuable data.
I wont go into technical details, but NoteMind just feels 'right' as does the price (hey, I'm a poor student!) compared with other solutions such as OmniOutliner (which needs to export to OmniGraffle in-order to show information links/nodes as a graphical representation.)
The developer seems to be constantly improving the application too, which is always encouraging.
Give NoteMind a spin and revel as your 'information-chaos' is forced into forming a nice orderly queue. :-)

I've been looking out for mind-mapper for a while now, and apart from Novamind, which costs 'an arm and a leg', there isn't much else worth considering (I wasn't impressed by the 'Omni' range of products- despite all that hype about them- far too fiddly). However, Notemind (kind of Novamind and Notebook rolled into one? ;) ) looks really promising, and I love the Mac OS9-like docking- very cool! I'd love to also see some sort of XML output for project management. Automatic Harvard website referencing too would also be very cool (for us lazy students and researchers!) And the price? £10?!? A bargain!! Really looking forward to seeing how this beauty develops. No one has rated it yet- so lets give it a 5 star rating- hopefully this will help the developer make a bit of cash to further its development :D
