Product Description:

A brand new way to assign keywords to your photos

Keyword Manager introduces a brand new way of assigning keywords to your photos in a simple and efficient way. Keyword Manager expands the functionality of your familiar iPhoto setup, and will greatly enhance your photo management experience. Download a fully functional demo version and try Keyword Manager today!

  • Hierarchical keyword grouping
For example, you can have the keyword Paris as a subkeyword to France. Every time you assign Paris to a photo, France will also be assigned to that photo.
  • Much faster than any AppleScript based solution
AppleScript based solutions become excruciatingly slow when assigning and removing keywords from a large amount of photos. Keyword Manager taps directly into iPhoto's own keywording system, for optimal performance.
  • Intelligent solutions for fast keywording
Smart auto-completion helps you increase the rate at which you keyword your photos. Non-obtrusive auto-correction suggestions helps you avoid creating similar duplicate keywords.
  • Assign keywords while in full-screen mode
With Keyword Manager you can still assign keywords to your photos, even when viewing them in full-screen mode.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed a bug that cause the plug-in to not load on some system,
  • Updated the French localizatin (thanks Ronald Leroux)

Keyword Manager CommentaryVery Useful! - Version: 1.4.3, 5/6/2008 08:20AM PST

GaryD
Having used Keyword Manager only since yesterday, I don't feel that rating it would be justified at this time. That being said, I must say that I am very impressed with it and recommend that you check it out.

It installed for me without issue and was very easy to understand and use.

Starting from scratch, I multiple-tagged an iPhoto Library of almost 15,000 images in approximately fifteen minutes. IMO, it's far superior to iPhoto's built-in keywording feature.

This plugin was a pleasure to use, and made an otherwise time-consuming and somewhat cumbersome task very simple for me. After continually putting off the chore of bringing organization to my iPhoto Library, Keyword Manager really saved the day and made it really simple to accomplish.

>> Warning: doesn't work with iPhoto 7.1.1

Not true...I'm using it right now. So you've got some other issue.

See this thread for fixing the problem most people are having:

BTW, there's one post in that thread about checking for a second SIMBL bundle in your user name Input Manager folder. That lone post was a gold mine for me...I did in fact have an older SIMBL bundle there and as soon as I trashed it and restarted iPhoto 7.1.1, Keyword Manager showed up as normal.

Keyword Manager CommentaryWarning: doesn't work with iPhoto 7.1.1 - Version: 1.4, 11/14/2007 09:09PM PST

Madam Web
Keyword manager was working fine with Leopard until I updated to iPhoto 7.1.1 this afternoon. After the upgrade, keyword manager disappeared again. I have about 10,000 photos in iPhoto and I love this program for finding exactly what I need. Wish I hadn't updated iPhoto.
