SlingPlayer Troubleshooting Report16:9 does not work anymore - Version: 1.0.6, 10/1/2008 01:13PM PST

noneofyourbiz
I cannot get the Slingplayer to show 16:9 anymore, just Pillarbox and Letterbox and Windowbox! Where has 16:9 support gone? It says in the update notes that you can now easily switch, but how? It's even gone in the menu!

SlingPlayer Usage TipFirmware update stalled . . . - Version: 1.0.6, 10/1/2008 12:20PM PST

This update installs a new firmware and mine stalled while installing it. I had to reset the unit and reinstall and now remote viewing doesn't work anymore.
Sounds like some router brain damage to get it going again.
Bummer!

SlingPlayer CommentaryMuch better.. - Version: 1.0.6, 10/1/2008 10:23AM PST

While this doesn't reach parity with the Windows version and certainly not with the Windows beta for 2.0 it is a solid bugfix. The player window pane respects the rest of the OS barriers and the connections have been solid and picture much improved. Thank you for the release- it took ages for this to get here though.
