Reader Notifier Usage TipThere is a version that works under Snow Leopard: - Version: 1.10, 10/15/2009 06:53PM PST

The 1.10 version on VT does not work correctly with Snow Leopard, but someone recompiled it (exact same version number so be sure you quit and delete your existing RN 1.10 first). The working version of Reader Notifier can be found here: http://bit.ly/qzsiC I tested this and it works immediately.

Reader Notifier Troubleshooting Report"Unable to connect to Google with user details" In 10.6 - Version: 1.10, 9/24/2009 10:19PM PST

I (and other user in various forums), can't connect while running Snow Leopard. Something must have broken the loginToGoogle() function. Any thoughts?

Reader Notifier requires a little knowledge and tweaking to get running right, but once it's set up it runs flawlessly.

Reader Notifier ReviewA great little menubar app... - Version: 1.08, 4/24/2008 10:33PM PST

Saint Rowan
This puppy works wonderfully. It makes it very easy to read blogs any time and anywhere. At first I had mine set with all the notifications on but over time I turned everything off except the color change of the menubar icon itself (that indicates new unread blogs). It's rather surprising Google doesn't have this because it's Google Notifier's twin sister. It's free and works great under 10.4 (all variations).

Great little app but it now tells me that I have 2148564272+ Unread RSS feeds when there's only 87 RSS feeds on RSS page.

Mus be a bug?!?

Reader Notifier CommentarySoon to Be 5 Stars - Version: 0.65, 11/18/2006 05:06PM PST

valx
I gave this a four star rating when I first tried it out a few weeks ago because there were a few features I wanted to see added. The developer has added almost all of those and more! The new Growl support is wonderful.

As soon as we can filter items using *multiple* labels, this is a five star app.

Reader Notifier ReviewNot bad. - Version: 0.50, 11/14/2006 01:29AM PST

I think that they will do some good things in future releases. It's a well implemented menu bar rss reader. I would like to see the preferences and other menu options that currently reside at the bottom of the menu to be at the top for quicker access. Also, it is only really realistic to select one tag to limit to if you subscribe to many feeds. Too many feeds makes it unreasonable to think you won't miss things.
