Product Description:

The QTPlugin is an API extension for the RealBasic's IDE that lets you access to a lot of the routines and structures provided by the QuickTime multimedia programming architecture.

This API comprises 131 classes, 2 modules and 84 global methods that make easy for you to work with the QuickTime engine maintaining a great deal of control over it.

Among the other things, you can use the QTPlugin to:

create and edit movies and tracks
export movies and still images
manage access keys and quicktime preferences
configure and apply effects to movies or images
acquire sound and video from external devices
output movies or still images to external devices
perform asynchronous data transfer and movie loading

You will be able to compile your projects for MacOS Classic, Carbon, Mach-O (PPC and Universal Binary) and Windows

updated code and added new properties to support the video compression with frame reordering and multi-pass encoding introduced in QuickTime 7.0
updated code and added new properties to support the H.264 video compression introduced in QuickTime 7.0
updated code and added new properties and classes to support the enhancements, introduced in QuickTime 7.0 and later, to the audio compression, extraction and acquisition API
added new properties and methods to the data container classes to support the audio enhancements introduced in QuickTime 7.0 and later
added new classes to work with the new metadata tags architecture introduced in QuickTime 7.0
added a module that defines properties, methods and constants related to the QuickTime environment and plugin characteristics
added a module that holds constants and defines a few general purpose methods, useful when handling video and sound data
added new properties and classes to deal with sample references

added new classes (and events) to allow asynchronous movie loading and file copy (either local or remote)
