Product Description:

Use PTGui to stitch any number of photos into a panoramic image. Some benefits of PTGui, when compared to other stitching software:
  • PTGui can stitch multiple rows of images
  • Create 360 degree cylindrical panoramas, 'flat' partial panoramas and even spherical 360x180 degree panoramas
  • No need to keep the camera level: PTGui can stitch rotated and tilted images
  • Virtually unlimited output size: create Gigapixel panoramas from hundreds of images!
  • Layered output allows full control over the final stitched result
  • PTGui stitches most panoramas fully automatically, but at the same time provides full manual control over every single parameter. This enables stitching of 'difficult' scenes, where other programs fail.
  • Full 16 bit workflow for best image quality

First clue 01001011 doesn't know what he is talking about. He posts the same reply three times to my post (yes I double posted but that is because vt wasn't responding) then he posts the same drivel in the main commentary section. Pardon me but starting off a post with "you are an idiot" doesn't make you credible.

Next clue, equirectangular panoramas are 360x180 spherical mappings and it is PTGui that does equirectangular not CS3. CS3 does cylindrical, perspective and shift. Until PTGui, a ripoff of Helmut Dersch's Panotools code, does least cost blending, CS3 wins for anything but 360 degree panoramas.

Learn to learn from different opinions my friend.

CS3 is ONLY GOOD FOR stitching an equirectangular image. try to use that image as a VR and you will see that CS3 DOES NOT wrap it's blending algo... so you will always see a seam. the right side of the image is never blended to the left side so the shots are UNUSABLE for QTVR. and until CS3 fixes that - it is INFERIOR to PTGui.
