NetFinder ReviewNetFinder is by far the best FTP app out there - Version: 3.0.1, 2/27/2008 05:52PM PST

I have used a lot of file management systems over the years but still find NetFinder the most stable, powerful and fastest app out there. It's obvious time has been spent on this version to make sure that the build continues to out performs it's competitors.

It supports all of the servers/protocols I need and then some. The filterable self contained reports are extremely useful & easy to use. There are also a lot of other extremely handy features for NetFinder users such as labeling, comments, the ability to preview Movies, MP3 & Shockwave files as well as the integration with Apple Automator, Keychain & BBEdit.

It may have been a while between builds, but it was well worth the wait.

Don't waste you time looking at the other apps like I did.
NetFinder is by far the best file management system out there and well worth the price.

This has everything I need: resumable downloads, drag and drop, and
it doesn't freak out with iphoto collections or bug me with inane questions,
gpl propaganda or bouncing icons. It's very slick and has displaced cyberduck
as my ftp client of choice.

I started using NetFinder again when version 3.0 came out. This is a really nice re-write. Easier support for adding shortcuts, single window browsing, more protocols and support for labels on remote files and folders (plus more). Automator support is going to be very handy.

Really stable and fast so far - good work.

I used NetFinder all the time back in the day and it is great to see its return.
NetFinder is back!

NetFinder ReviewNF has been dead for several years now - Version: 3.0, 1/30/2008 12:00AM PST

I paid for this ages ago and actually liked it at the time, but development had stalled for years which I guess shows the developers commitment to his work and customers. I guess he needs some money and hence put some work in to it after years of nothing, just to probably abandon it again once he gets some poor souls to pay for it.

This application is obsolete use Transmit or Cyber Duck

I bought and used NF at OS 9 times and at the time it was a good application with some bugs though. The developer abandoned NF and his customers for years and now a release of version 3??

I guess the developer needs some quick money and once he convinces some poor souls to fork out some money abandons it again.

Stay away and there are much better alternatives available = PAID - TRANSMIT or FREE - CYBERDUCK

NetFinder ReviewRIP NetFinder - Version: 2.3.3, 1/14/2006 06:41AM PST

Used NetFinder for many years but too many unfixed bugs now force me to change to something else, probably Transmit. NetFinder one of the best FTP tools for Mac before OS X. Now seems unable to handle long file names properly (shortens them in the middle with an ellipsis (...), which is often hard to figure out and can cause serious trouble in web applications). there are many other bugs less heavy, but the developer doesn't seem to care anyway...

NetFinder CommentaryA dead product… - Version: 2.3.3, 9/10/2005 07:20PM PST

…which the developer would pull the plug on if he had any pride. Rather buggy and with broken features in Panther and Tiger. No SFTP. A real pity. NF was once a top notch Mac FTP client.

Used to be my preferred FTP client and paid for it but switched 8 month ago to Transmit and don't look back. Hardly any further development or new features for NetFinder.

A 0.0.1 version number increase every 12 month isn't exactly evolution... to bad, I once paid for this now outdated application.
