Product Description:

InPreflight is a comprehensive quality control solution for Adobe InDesign that lets you quickly and easily locate potential problems and produce error-free documents. InPreflight gives you extensive information about all document's fonts, colors and links and allows to quickly spot potential problems according to user defined preflight settings. For the first time since the release of InDesign, you have access to such a robust, fast, user-friendly and affordable preflight solution. InPreflight will save you hours of checking your documents manually and dealing with consequences of costly mistakes.

In preflight presets, you can select various attributes to be flagged as problems, such as color mode, font type, image effective resolution, link status and others. InPreflight also reports information about several link attributes otherwise unavailable in InDesign, such as TIFF and EPS compression, fonts in native Illustrator files, existence of embedded fonts and resolution of duotone images. You can also generate detailed preflight report, open links in default application and show them in InDesign document, reveal links/fonts in Finder and activate InDesign's Package command directly from InPreflight. Users of the Xinet FullPress workflow have an option to automatically relink images to hi-res OPI volumes before preflight.

InPreflight 1.5 introduces several new features such as preflight presets, ability to find Registration-colored text, ability to check the link paths for specific strings of text and more.

Beta-testers who provide feedback will receive a free copy of InPreflight 1.5 (see the Read Me file included with the beta version for details).

InPreflight ReviewThis is what Adobe should have done in the first place - Version: 1.0.4, 12/11/2006 09:29AM PST

I am sent a 60 page document each month to review before it goes to the printer. It is my task to make sure it is 100% print ready with no errors. Checking 60 pages worth of images for resultion, color mode etc with Adobe's built-in preflight is maddeningly slow to the point it is useless for me. This is soooo much faster and better than the built-in preflight. Many thanks to the developers... it was worth every penny and worked the second I installed it with no problems. It has saved my sanity and hours of work.
