SafariScript CommentaryApart from the keyboard shortcuts how is this better than Apple's Script Menu? - Version: 1.2, 10/15/2006 11:40AM PST

Brennan Young
OK I can see the keyboard shortcuts being useful occasionally, but how is this better than Apple's Script Menu? Keen AppleScripters already make good use of Script Menu. What's the 'USP' of yet another Script menu using space in the menu bar?

More importantly, at this point, no Mac web browsers make any interesting use of AppleScript, which is a great shame. When is Apple going to extend Safari's AppleScript interface? In particular I'd like to see an object model for 'Activity' (see Safari's Activity window for details).

Still this could be an interesting product if it differentiates itself from Script Menu in some more obvious and useful ways.
