If it would work, it might be a cool app.
However it just creates an empty folder on your desktop, this can be achieved by using the command 'new folder' in an far easier way ....
too bad...

otherwise you must type the full path as in Users/user name/desktop/folder/pdf name. It will not drop and drag on a PPC G4 in Panther.

Hi again,
this applicaton won´t run on intel macs at the moment.
OK, the GUI is compiled as an Universal binary and it will start. But the included pdftohtml is compiled for PPC.
If you want to run this application on an intel mac, you have to compile the source code "pdftohtml-0.39/src/" which is included self.

Christan

Installed it. Dragged a PDF to it, but it wouldn't take it. Tried a couple of different PDFs. Tried it with and without the .pdf ending. Tried using the "Open" command in the File menu, but it is dimmed.
Any ideas?

I was deeply unimpressed to discover that the installed had not installed the promised PDF-HTML application but had rather installed something to do with "Root Kit".
This kind of duplicity is thoroughly shameful and has been reported as an abuse to Version tracker.

1. Don't move the default instalation.
2. The POSIX path to the PDF you want to convert must not contain special characters, including SPACES.
So, move/copy your PDF to the Desktop (which is a safe path: /Users/yourname/Desktop/) and remove any special characters and spaces from its name, using only basic Roman alphabetic characters, numbers, hyphen, dot and underscore.
