PDFProtect CommentaryThis product is no longer supported -- don't waste your money - Version: 2.3, 10/9/2008 03:33PM PST

I bought this back in June of 2008 and used it about 20-30 times. It was working fine and I was happy with it. Suddenly the files i was opening started to come up with "there was a problem reading this document," and the file was corrupted. I went to the sybrex site and left a support ticket, but never got an answer from them about it. Recently went back to check and the tickets were closed. I've never gotten any answer or support from them. I think this product is a dead end. It no longer seems to work on the files I need to open and there is no support response on my second ticket as of October, 2008.

I am still evaluating, but I tried it on one protected file that I had forgotten the password for, and it removed the protection. Have not tried any other features.
