Jeff's support of his product is outstanding -- my theory is that he is actually twins, as no one person could possibly be so responsive to his customers and hold down a full-time job on top of that! Thanks, Jeff, for great software and support.

Planbook ReviewBeyond amazing...BEST product out there...Parents asking why EVERYONE isnt using Planbook - Version: 1.3.2, 9/8/2008 07:49PM PST

I recently started using Planbook. EVERY question I could throw at Jeff (the developer) was answered almost immediately. The longest I had to wait was less than 24 hrs. On 3 different occasions I was actually holding a conversation back and forth through email. (Does this guy do anything but help his users?? He is AMAZING!!!)

My parents at school were absolutely amazed at what I could now provide their children with. They asked why it wasnt required for every teacher in my district to use it.

If you are a teacher, you MUST MUST MUST start using this program. It will completely change how you communicate with your parents/students. In only 3 weeks of school, my 6th grade students are already accessing the things they need from school AT home.

I can not speak highly enough about the support of the developer of this program. I have had need of assistance a couple of times - it has been there within the same day! Once within minutes! I need a special patch because of the region I work in. I contacted the developer who happened to be right a the computer and within 10 mins an email arrived with the patch and of course it worked perfectly.

As for the program itself - I simply can not now function with out it!

Hi,

I have been using Planbook for last year at school and this year, pretty much since it first became available. I would highly recommend Planbook for several reasons:
- Very powerful
- Very flexible
- Well supported (responses are personal, direct, and to the point, as well as timely)
- Very helpful in my teaching of science in middle school.

I recommend trying it and you'll get hooked too.

Have been using it for over a year... Great program and new features often popping up as a result of user feedback. Author responds quickly to questions... Asked one on a Saturday and the answer was there on Sunday. What more can I ask for?

Planbook ReviewLove it - Version: 1.3.2, 9/8/2008 04:23AM PST

I am so impressed with the developer's support of this program. He truly listens to the users when we tell him changes we would like to see or problems we are experiencing. On Friday, after working for an hour on plans, I experienced a problem with my data file. I e-mailed it to Jeff and within an hour he had repaired the file and sent it back to me. He really saved my weekend!

Planbook ReviewJoel - Version: 1.3.2, 9/8/2008 03:24AM PST

I've been using Planbook since the end of September last year and I'm not going back. It does everything I need it to and more. The developer IS responsive - always answering my inquiries the same day. The feature I like best is being able to attach the documents I've created to the lesson itself. Makes it real easy to get hold of things and revise for the new year. New versions appear frequently that address users wishes and concerns.

Planbook ReviewDeveloper not responsive - Version: 1.3.2, 9/7/2008 01:02PM PST

I have found the developer not responsive to bug reports sent to him. The scroll arrows do not always work and I find it annoying that I cannot print out the entire lesson plan by week. It cuts off detailed plans instead of printing to a second page. I am thinking of trying StarPlanIt or going back to a paper copy of my plans.

Planbook ReviewBrief use, but already impressed. - Version: 1.1.6, 7/8/2008 12:35AM PST

I am a beginning middle school applied technology teacher. I had some grandiose plans in mind for developing my own database for lesson plans to keep everything organized when it occurred to me to check out versiontracker and I came across this gem.

I've played with it for about five minutes and I'm already drooling. I'm extraordinarily anal-retentive about my lesson plans and practice plans. I want everything neatly aligned and no wasted time. This looks like the software for me!

Thanks Jeff. I'll be in touch with further kudos and suggestions as I come across them, but so far this looks fantastic! Thank you!

While student teaching, I set about searching for a class planning program that would help me unify the whole kit and kaboodle; my class plans, web links, MSW documents, .jpg images, .mp3's, you name it...

Out of three trial use demos, Planbook was hands down the best! A++ for user interface and simplicity!

What a wonder, to be able to have all of my documents linked together and organized! Plus the user- friendly interface for uploading the lesson plans, and other documents. Definitely an all-in-one resource!

Great for emergencies too, if I needed an extra handout, I was able to stay cool, quickly locate and print what I needed. Many thanks to Jeff Hellman!

Take it from me,
The Macintosh Maven!
