Episode Pro ReviewGreat product, great support! - Version: 5.0, 5/2/2008 10:09AM PST

In what has got to be an industry first, version 5 of Episode is a free upgrade! While the new feature set in version 5 is small as compared to version 4, it still is a free upgrade which is amazing. Program converts most all forms of video (does not convert swf files) into other formats (download, web, divx, et al). I've had problems with the streaming conversions in that they don't seem to really be streaming versions (no preload). The default conversions work OK, but if you tweak them the conversions are much better. Version 4 tends to ignore image size so you have to make sure you click the option to keep the same size (or the conversion gets messed up). Version 5 seems to have the same problem.

Overall this converts video quickly. I find it better than Squeeze and other compression programs. More importantly, it is supported and updated whereas other programs (Cleaner for example) is rarely updated.
