CoRD Troubleshooting ReportWon't Launch in 10.4.11 - Version: 0.5.0 Beta 2, 7/7/2009 07:05AM PST

FubarGuy_MD
Tried the 0.5 Beta & it never launches. Is it Leopard only now? 0.4.3 runs, but it crashes when I try to go Full Screen.

CoRD ReviewThanks...needs a little more work for Leopard.. - Version: 0.4.2, 11/5/2007 07:22AM PST

I put my money where my mouth is and donated to this project when they put out a patch for Leopard. Unfortunately, it is still choppy/buggy with Leopard. I have this app on 3 different Macs and the issues are consistent. This is the absolute best app available for for RDP on ther Mac platform. I am dieing to have the smooth, fast, glitch-free operation that was present with 10.4.! There still seems to be graphics issues with Leopard.

I would be more than happy to make a second donation if there were another patch to clear up these final issues. Keep up he great work...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This program was my life blood as the IT Director of a mixed environment. I am dieing painfully ever since I found out that this program does not work well with Leopard. It is painful to use with Leopard. I would not bother. PLEASE, PLEASE update this program. I'll gladly pay for it, or donate, or whatever. For what it does, it is completely unrivaled in the OS X world. It is, IMO an absolute essential for admins!

CoRD ReviewHave tried others- - Version: 0.4.1, 5/16/2007 09:14PM PST

A Nony Mouse
I've been trying to purge my Mac of all Microsoft products- even the free ones like Remote Desktop.. The open source projects out there had been difficult to manage, settings would work one day and not the next. Finally CoRD comes along and nicely polishes the process the Macintosh way. The window mode is really nice and gives you a feeling of control where others drop the ball.

This is a really useful project- thank you for your efforts!

CoRD Troubleshooting ReportScrolling problem from RDC present in CoRD - Version: 0.3, 5/3/2007 08:26PM PST

alistairmontgomerie
I have a lot of users running a program over Microsoft RDC that requires a lot of scrolling through columns. This doesn't work very well, as when they scroll then release the mouse button the screen continues to scroll for ages. The problem doesn't occur running the Windows XP version of RDC, nor does it occur in the Fedora Terminal session tool. Even running the Windows XP RDC under Parallels works without the scrolling lag.
I was hopeing CoRD would solve this problem. It reduced the problem a bit but didn't fix it.
