I like this little app. If you need to transcribe say a video podcast, or any video for that matter. This is a handy little app that won't cost you an arm and a leg like commercial apps that do the same thing.

But there are two problems.

When you add a new time marker by hitting the "Tab" key. The new marker doesn't show up in the text area until you hit another key. I would expect to see the time maker appear immediately after I hit the "Tab" key. This through me off when I first started to use it, and made me think the app wasn't working.

Also, the use of the "-" (minus) key to start and stop playback isn't the best choice IMHO. I would like to have seen the "|\" key (right above the "Return" key) or the "caps lock" key used instead.

The "-" key is convenient to hit from a keyboarding standpoint, but if you need to use a "-" in your transcribing you can't.
