Product Description:

CDRevolution has a straight forward, easy to use drag and drop interface which makes copying standard audio and data CDs simple.

  • Audio CDs are copied with the same size gaps between the tracks as the original.
  • Data CDs are copied with 1:1 accuracy.

And when you don't have a blank CD at hand, an image of the original CD can be saved to your hard drive for burning later.

There is a Quick Start Guide that shows you just how easy it is to copy a CD with CDRevolution.

What's new in this version:

  • Changes
    • French translation added
  • Fixes
    • Now able to burn to 800 MB (90 min) optical discs (on drives which support this)
    • Cures a problem where cue sheet files with an upper-case file extension failed to burn
    • No longer accepts cue sheets that erroneously refer to missing files
    • CD titles with accented characters now display correctly
    • Registration key files altered by Yahoo! Mail filters will now work the same as regular key files

I had to copy a boot cd disk for a PC (but using my Mac to make the copy). Nothing worked. The OSX.5 software didn't work. Roxio didn't work. But this little program worked pefectly.

CDRevolution Troubleshooting Reportcan't copy data images/disks to DVD - Version: 1.13, 7/3/2008 05:55PM PST

plaintiger

well, i used CDRevolution to make a backup of my Lightroom 1.0 CD and was so pleased with the ease-of-use that i registered the app, whereupon - as always seems to happen when i register new software after a very short tryout - i discovered a shortcoming. i went to burn my 800 MB Photoshop CS3 disk image to a DVD and CDRevolution wouldn't do it - it insisted that i insert a CD. so i used Disk Utility instead and it was a snap. clicked the Burn button, selected the disk image and popped in a blank DVD and all was good.

beyond that it seems a nicely-designed app; i just hope that now that i've paid for it i wind up getting $19.95 worth of use out of it.

CDRevolution Troubleshooting Reportstill waiting to burn ;-) - Version: 1.12, 2/1/2008 12:00AM PST

Joel Rivet
On a MBP 2.2GHz, 2 Gb RAM, Leopard 10.5.1, CDRevol 1.1.2

I'm trying to duplicate my kid's precious Mika's music CD, which was impossible with Apple disk util., nor with Toast.

No problems with CDRevol. to create a proprietary image disk, but everytime I'm trying to burn, it says " checking for blank CD" ! And turns around during hours .... !

Up to now, I'm unable to burn any CD, and that software seems to be unusable for me?
Or is it a limitation for the dema version, not to be able to burn? But not documented!

Help from anybody, somebody, or the creator/developper (I didn't find a contact email on their site :-(( )

I was enthousiastic, I'm disappointed.
But I could change my point of view, relayed on this forum if I misunderstood something ... or if I receive some help from the developper.

Joel
