BitRocket Troubleshooting ReportAuto Pausing Torrents - Version: 0.2.1(28), 4/30/2007 04:04AM PST

peewee
I have certain (maybe one of five or ten) torrents who switch back to paused a few seconds or half a minute after starting them. Some others announce forever without connecting to any peers, although there are many out there.

Switched back to 0.2.1(25), where I don't have those problems (with the same torrents) and no other serious issues.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the rocket. Really like it. How about some shortcuts to control the torrents btw?

BitRocket ReviewConcerned about spammers - Version: 0.1(25), 4/13/2007 12:43AM PST

concerned
I'm no expert on Bit Torrent, however I am very computer literate. I thought I'd give this software a try. The connections seem extremely slow and limited, but the most disturbing thing is I suspect spammers of somehow utilizing the network to send their spam from my computer (ip address). For the first time ever, I got an email saying a message I had sent was never delivered and was filtered by spam software. I NEVER SENT (or seen) THE MESSAGE before. The only different activity I have done is try bit torrent by using this software. Since it both sends and receives packets of info, I strongly suspect it is an avenue for spammers to gain access. BEWARE.
