Product Description:

Barcode Blitz is an easy to use software that creates the barcodes Code EAN 8, EAN 13 / ISBN 10 and the new ISBN 13 as EPS or high resolution CMYK raster graphics. Typical applications are barcodes for layout, DTP, package design, book titles or covers etc. Barcode Blitz is very reasonably priced and pays for itself with only a few codes thus bringing the inhouse creation of barcodes within the reach of small businesses, home offices, or mom-and-pop service bureaus.

Barcode For Mac

The freeware mentioned below by user Stormchild has last been updated in 2002.

a.) It does not create codes with Addon that you need for ISBNs.

b.) Obviously, it also does not create the new ISBN 13 barcodes (which have been introduced only last year).

c.) It does not create CMYK output which you need if you want to professionally print or typeset barcodes without prior conversion.

Nobody will ever pay $80 for a program that does nothing but generate a barcode. If it was April 1st, I'd assume this was a joke.

There are probably quite a few others; I just did a quick search of VT and found that one.
