I just been able to run Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9 on MacOsX 10.5.5 with CrossOver 7.1. What a pleasure ! It loads in 18 seconds compared to minutes to launch Parallel desktop. And it is far more reactive than within parallel !

Why not just buy a cheap fast PC from ebay. Soon as I come into some money soon I'm buying a full blown Non-intel Tiger 10.4.11 G5 desktop and a PC desktop. Then I'll be in computer heaven.

I've never used a PC but from the people I know that use them it can't be that hard to learn.
I'm surprised they can dress themselves in the morning.

I had responsed to the previous post, but I feel the need to make my point more overt here. To say "it sucks" is pointless. I find just the opposite to be true. Hey, if you need to know Windows and a broad array of Windows programs, then ya, VMware Fusion is the best thing out there. But for me, all I needed was to know the Windows version of MS Office. Crossover runs that just fine. I can even use drag-and-drop to open documents. It doesn't require as much memory as VMware. So, how, exactly, does this "suck?" I haven't had a single problem with this software, and I get decent customer support. They even provided an educator discount. Again, how, exactly, does this "suck?"

I have been running CrossOver for a month and found that it does what it says. I have been able to run SOME windows application (iMac x86) without any problem, but of course, the list of available applications is a little too short. I would love to see the developper continue working on a "priority list" that would be updated by public wish...
