Thinking Rock ReviewGreat Software, great GTD implementation - ideal for GTD beginners! - Version: 1.2.3, 5/12/2007 05:46AM PST

I'm very impressed by this software and I would especially recommend it to GTD beginners who try to implement the system and who have to use Windows and MacOS, as TR is platform compatible.

TR guides the user and so does a great job, I think, in explaining the correct and productive GTD workflow.

The GUI is not 100% mac-like (but that's the price of a real cross platform app) and it is not 100% consistent yet concerning keyboard shortcuts.

I'm looking forward to version 2 which will have some more interesting new features and will become Open Source!

Thinking Rock CommentaryLoving this! - Version: 1.2.2, 11/13/2006 11:13AM PST

I've been using TR for about 3 weeks now, and I am loving it. Just downloaded the latest, which has a couple of features I have seen requested in the past 3 weeks on the forum. So this product is being actively developed and the developers are responsive to requests.

This is the first software I've found that makes the GTD approach work for me. And you can't beat the price!

Thinking Rock ReviewGTD done right - Version: 1.2.1, 8/13/2006 12:59PM PST

A very nice implementation of GTD!

I have tried just about everything I could find for the Mac.

My top 3 are kGTD (Requires OmniOutliner Pro), Process, and Thinking Rock. Only TR is free; Process and OO are commercial.

Nice Features:

TR allows nested folders for projects and sub-projects.

Next Actions can be listed and sorted by date.

Much more!

Feature Requests:

A nicer interface.

Make Overview page a set of links.

Add a few more time-based viewing options (yes, I know not strictly GTD).
