NWPlugin ReviewWould be nice if it worked for the Finder! - Version: 1.0, 8/8/2006 03:43AM PST

This seems to work pretty well. This is on 10.3.9. Tried it on various applications where the behaviour seems useful.

My only problem is that it doesn't work with the one application I would most use it for: the Finder. Working with multiple desktops, I often have Finder windows open on desktops other than the one I'm curently working in. Clicking on the Finder icon in the dock just brings the Finder windows to the front in the desktop(s) where they're open whereas wahat would be most useful would be if it opened a New window right where I am at the time. It seems like a similar trick is all that's required: intercept the Finder and send it a command-N but as currently written this application doesn't work for the Finder. Would be great if it did!

If you can't get this thing to work, please send me email because I'd like to know what configurations work and don't work. My email is in the README. Thanks.

NWPlugin Commentarydoesn't work for me - Version: 1.0, 8/7/2006 01:39PM PST

Intel iMac (10.4.7) didn't generate new windows in Mail or Safari. Existing windows just came forward. Good idea, though.
