2finder ReviewWonderful Tool, Now Make it Better - Version: 1.3b, 3/31/2008 02:22PM PST

Having just moved to a Mac from a PC it is clear that OS X is a lot of fun to use but it does have SOME MAJOR OVERSIGHTS. One such oversight is the inability to tile (side by side, or above and below) multiple windows opened in a particular application, e.g. FINDER, WORD, ENDNOTE, others. 2finder 1.3b is a FIRST STEP towards some sanity in regards to solving the above problems. My thanks to the developer Raphael. I would not mind paying for this app with some further enhancements. 1. When tiling in either horizontal (row) or vertical (column) orientation, don't tile over the DOCK. The dock should always remain clear! 2. Allow for a Preferences section to indicate always tile vertically, horizontally or select manually. 3. Allow this kind of tiling for other applications where transfer of files or of information is important. All in all, this is a wonderful contribution. Again, thank you Raphael Wolfer. 2finder CommentaryDual Finder windows... - Version: 1.3b, 10/8/2006 05:24PM PST

I have been using dual Finder windows since the days of OS 8 with several utilities. Since the Beta OS X I've also used dual Finder windows stacked one on top of the other. When I quite the Finder or re-boot my Powerbook the Finder opens both windows again, same placement as before. Does it work differently for other users?
The script in this software does what it says, just haven't had the recurring problem of having to re-open and re-position my Finder windows more than once in a while. Just a comment.

2finder ReviewPerfect - Version: 1.3b, 10/8/2006 04:20PM PST

Perfect tool! I tend to do this manually all the time. This utility is a major time-saver for me.

Does exactly what it says. Open 2 identical Finder windows in a row or column setup to easily drag and drop files.
