FileMaker API for PHP Usage TipFileMaker API for PHP - Version: 1.0b1, 8/3/2006 11:59AM PST

FMWebschool has been working for some time now with the new FileMaker API for PHP. The new FileMaker API for PHP enables Individuals to publish their FileMaker solutions to the web. If you wish to host your own website using the new API for PHP you will need FileMaker Server Advanced 8.0v4. You can upgrade to this new version from 8.0 for free on their website. We have released a 12 page guide that will help you get started with installing and set-up. Download the Help Guide Users of the new API need to remember that this is a "beta" release. This means that the code could change, and that there may still be some bugs. You are advised against using it in a production environment at this time. The new FileMaker API for PHP also works well with FX.php. Both can actually exist side by side on the server and the code can even be used on the same page. Both can query the same database and return results.
