Open a finder window, then click on VIEW in your Menu Bar, navigate to CUSTOMIZE TOOLBAR, then click and drag the delete icon, and any others to your open finder window toolbar. Every finder window from now on will have these options. Your Welcome.

Even better -- hold down the Command and Shift keys, then press Delete.
Trash is emptied instantly.
