Product Description:

Listen to all 60 of the BBC's national, regional and local radio streams, right on your Dashboard.

Note: This widget is completely unofficial. Due to legal threats from the BBC, this widget can no longer display the proper station branding.

RealPlayer 11 causes audio dropouts. Please use RealPlayer 10, or use the widget in "Dashboard developer mode".

What's new in this version:

Version 3.41 finally gets Asian Network working. I can only apologise for how long this has taken to send out! Unbelievably, you may need to restart for the fix to take effect. Seriously.

Just as one should not email a large attachment (specially to some hapless bugger who has only a dial-up connection) before asking, it is totally inappropriate to push audio to unsuspecting people as opposed to providing a link to click to receive the audio. I'm in a quiet hospital environment and I did not appreciate music shouting out of my computer's speak as soon as I came to this page.

I was already in a grumpy mood, having just finished submitting a complaint to BBC. I defy anyone to find where or how to do this in under 30 minutes, using their hopelessly-confusing and deliberately-unhelpful web site. That's how their flagship tech program Click can get away with telling the world that Apple operates a DRM system at the iTunes Music Store, and criticizes Apple for it.
