Product Description:

A small utility written in Applescript Studio. It brings a countdown timer up to many hours and a chronometer with lap time button. The chronometer has also the possibility to save the list of lap times in a text file for easy record. Don't expect this to be so precise, but I think that the repeatability is within half a second. Many customizations through preferences window.

What's new in this version:

Possibility to directly write the time settings directly in the fields; this can be enabled in preferences;
universal binary - Intel & PPC native;
an alarm volume control has been added, independently from the system volume; if the volume is muted, the alarm doesn't sound: a dialog is shown instead
automatically check for update with a chosen frequency; the update occurs with a digital sgnature check, so you are sure to connect to the right server;
now all buttons have keyboard equivalent;
bug fix: the lap list now is correct also with AM/PM time setting;
complete on-line help.

Last note: sorry to say that one user discovered a problem that occurs with OS X.4 (Tiger): the alarm doesn't play (the dialog and the spoken sentence are ok). We are working to solve it. In the meantime, we suggest to Tiger users to use InerziaTimer 1.0.

alarm doesn't sound any more... - Version: 1.1, 2/2/2009 06:00AM PST

I had been using Inerzia Timer happily, but after updating to 1.1, the alarm doesn't sound any more! I went into preferences and double-checked the volume control which is set at 100%. I then uninstalled this new version, re-installed version 1.0 and the alarm came back. I guess for now I'll stick with 1.0. (The 1.0 version I have says 3.8 Intl - maybe that makes a difference since my OS is in French?)
