ButtonGadget2 CommentaryInteresting... - Version: 2.0, 8/20/2006 02:16AM PST

...BUT this piece of software is a clear example of poor porting to Mac OS X. In the Windows world this might be a nice little app, on Mac OS X it sucks: it is way too complicated, is not intuitive at all, and some features (f.e. the capture image feature) simply do not work as they should.

What I like about ButtonGadget is the SmartStretch feature where you delete parts of the button (f.e. to get rid of the original text), to eventually add a new text.

The price is rather hefty, I would say. For Mac OS X people might want to try ButtonBuilder instead...

ButtonGadget2 CommentaryDownload Problems - Version: 2.0, 7/12/2006 09:47AM PST

Has anyone successfully gotten the setup app for this product to complete the download of whatever else is required to actually have a runable program to test? It keeps failing for me, telling me that it can't complete the download. I've contacted the vendor, but got NO response.
