So far... so good. Fast, easy install and even faster/easier sync with my 580i phone.

iSync SE Plugins with W890i [UK]

I'm using a SE W890i with Mac OS 10.5.2 and it does the job perfectly. It's very good value for the price in my opinion and I'm very happy with it.
The disk image is only 40Kb to download, you get the two colour options for the iSync icon and it installs in seconds.
Highly Recommended
Cheers,
Gerry

Sony Ericsson iSync Plugins - Mac OS X

- Version: 1.6.8, 3/5/2008 08:29AM PST

just downloaded it and using on my new imac with OS 10.5. Using Sony k810i phone in UK. Great product. Easy to install, and sync was fast and easy with Bluetooth. I previously used Sony's own sync software with my old PC with Windows XP. Bluetooth sync never worked with that, syncing was slow and installation slow. This bit of kit blows Sony's rubbish software away! Recommended folks
Great product

T650i: iSync doesn't handle daylight saving? - Version: 1.6.3, 10/18/2007 02:34PM PST
Mats.L.Nilsson
Computer: Mac OS X 10.4.10, Time zone (nearest city) = Stockholm
Phone: T650i, Time zone = GMT+1, Daylight saving = Yes (current date is October 18, 2007)
Today October 18 we're on Daylight saving. I start my usage by resetting the phone with iSync. Date range for Daylight saving (DD) = 2007-03-25 – 2007-10-28. Result is that all iCal activities (on phone) within DD are correct. Outside DD they're 1 h off.
Then if I create activities within DD and outside the result is:
- activities are always correct on unit where created, phone or Mac.
- on unit that didn't create activity, the activity is 1 h off if activity is outside DD, otherwise correct.
Is this a bug or are my settings somehow wrong?

usb works even with 10.4.10 - Version: 1.6.2, 9/28/2007 07:36AM PST
step3
out of sheer desperation (i desperately needed to get 200+ contacts onto my new W200i), i figured i'd still try the plugin even though i've got 10.4.10...
anyway, after the initial mistake of setting the wrong USB mode, i managed to get iSync to recognize my phone via USB on the second try. the trick was to open the 'add device' dialog, *then* plug in the W200i, and then quickly press the 'scan' button before OS X detects the phone.
worked like a charm!!

Great feedback corrected my misunderstanding!!

The developer contacted me directly after I left my review explaining how I couldn't activate the Address Book link with my w580i. Through e-mail I was shown how to link the two and all is working!!
Thank you!!
Thank you!!
These iSync Plugins continue to work perfectly in Mac OS X 10.4.x, 10.5.x and 10.6.x.
Apple did remove the Mac Address Book's ability to dial and send SMS via Bluetooth in Mac OS X 10.5. However, that is totally separate to, and does not affect, iSync's ability to sync Contacts and Calendars.
