Picture Framer ReviewExtremely Buggy, No Support - Version: 1.5, 10/31/2009 10:45PM PST

I was excited to find a widget that would act as like a digital picture frame for my Mac. I tried downloading but the link was broken. How disappointing.

I was hoping the widget would automatically advance pictures. The website only said "automatically changes to a new picture when you choose". Huh? Isn't that a contrasting statement? How does something work automatically if you manually have to do something? I emailed them for clarification. They never replied.

For the price, I decided to take the chance and purchase the widget. At the end of the paypal process it told me how to activate the widget. Unfortunately the directions were for one of their other widgets which was clearly listed at the top of the page (which of course is different)! I hit the back button to make sure that I paid for the right widget. Indeed I did.

I followed the registration instructions directly from their site. Registering the widget unlocked the slideshow feature, but now there are no options for the frame type. The "done" button is gone as well so i cannot get out of the options section. Screwed.

I took a risk and got burned. At least it was only $5. Take my advice and spend your money on coffee. You'll get more enjoyment.
