I was very please after finding this software. One of my clients wanted me to connect to his companies polycom system and I've got an imac. I tried Parallels and Windows XP along with the Polycom software but I had no luck getting it to recognize my isight plus I hated the polycom interface. After installing Xmeeting it was as easy and calling their IP address. Video quality could be better but I'm still learning how to adjust things.

Version 0.3.4a claims than the distorted video that appeared with Mac OS X 10.4.10 when using the built-in iSight that no other bugs have been fixed. It is not true it fixes more.

On the macintoshes on campus (intel or PPC) when we where communicating with any other compatible Polycom units, tandberg units or PC/mac running compatible software the xmeeting mac users would see horribly block video. Initially I had speculated that it was just due to large amounts of traffic in the subnet the macs where in. I was wrong, After this update the video became significantly better. I would recommend that anyone whom is using 0.3.4 and is receiving poor video from other units upgrade to 0.3.4a
